The Fleet and Hook Lions' 2026 Santa routes are not out yet; here is how both ran in 2025. The Harlington grotto is £9 on 25 November; the Post Office is free.
Santa’s two road tours around Fleet and Hook have not published their 2026 routes yet. The Lions Club of Fleet takes its Christmas float round Fleet, Church Crookham and Hartland, and the Hook, Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions run a sleigh round their villages. Both clubs’ pages still show last year’s plans as at 3 October 2026, so below is how each ran in 2025 and where the 2026 routes will appear.
Two Santa stops are already confirmed for this year: Santa’s Grotto in The Harlington on Fleet Christmas Festival day, Wednesday 25 November, and the free Santa’s Post Office in the Hart Shopping Centre, which opens the same day and runs at weekends until 20 December.
The quick answer
- Fleet Lions Christmas float: 2026 routes not published. In 2025 it toured Fleet, Church Crookham and Hartland on December evenings, usually from 5.30pm to about 7.30pm, with a live GPS tracker.
- Hook, Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions sleigh: 2026 routes not published. In 2025 it visited 10 estates from 5.30pm to 8pm, plus the Hartley Wintney and Odiham Christmas markets and Tesco in Hook.

Fleet Lions Christmas float
The Lions Club of Fleet’s float carries Santa and “his Snowmen” round the town, stopping at safe places so families can come out and take photos. The club says it announces its arrival with bells and music, and that the float also stops at the Hart Shopping Centre and Morrisons. Money collected pays for Christmas food parcels and other support for people in need around Fleet.
What we know from 2025:
- The float toured Fleet, Church Crookham and Hartland.
- Evening tours usually start at 5.30pm and finish around 7.30pm.
- Its position was shown live on a GPS tracker linked from the club’s Christmas page, with updates on the club’s Facebook page.
- Universal Classic Cars sponsored it in 2025.
2026: the club’s routes page says “nothing active at present”, and its Christmas page was last updated on 2 December 2025. The club’s public diary runs to January 2027 and does not yet list float dates. We will add the 2026 dates and streets here when the club publishes them.

Hook, Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions sleigh
The Hook, Odiham and Hartley Wintney Lions have run a Santa sleigh for many years. They say the old sleigh served them for more than 25 years and that they have invested in a new one, built by Horton Commercial to meet road standards.

The 2025 table on the club’s page does not give the dates of each round. 2026: the page was updated on 16 September 2026 but still shows the 2025 routes, marked “Now all completed”, and the club’s October to December 2026 diary lists no sleigh dates yet. The club covers Greywell, Hook, Hartley Wintney, Long Sutton and Well, Mattingley, Odiham and North Warnborough, Rotherwick, South Warnborough and Winchfield.

Yateley: Yateley and District Lions have no Santa sleigh listed on their website or events calendar, which shows only the 7 November fireworks for the rest of 2026.
Santa’s Grotto at The Harlington, 25 November
On Fleet Christmas Festival day, Wednesday 25 November, Santa’s Grotto runs inside The Harlington, 236 Fleet Road, with the “Funtime Elves”.
- £9 per child plus a £1 booking fee, booked through the festival website.
- All proceeds go to Stepping Stones DS.
- Times are TBC on the festival’s page as at 3 October. Children must stay with an adult.
The festival runs from 2pm to 9pm on Fleet Road, and the lights are switched on at 6.30pm in Gurkha Square. Road closures, parking and the stage times are on our Fleet Christmas lights switch-on page.

Santa’s Post Office: free from 25 November
The Fleet Business Improvement District brings back Santa’s Post Office in the Hart Shopping Centre. Children write a letter to Santa with the elves’ help and post it in the post box. Entry is free, and children must be with an adult.

Santa at Birdworld, 19 to 24 December
Just over the county line at Holt Pound near Farnham (GU10 4LD), Birdworld runs Santa’s Magical Christmas Show from Saturday 19 to Thursday 24 December. It is an interactive show with a gift for every child, five times a day at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. You choose a session on arrival, subject to space, and the show is included in Birdworld admission.
